TESTIMONIES FROM YOUNG PEOPLE

Emmanuel D; 13+

The Boy's Brigde experience has been fun. We have learnt new things as well as having fun. We learn useful things, which we will be useful for the future, like learning some the traffic/road signs; how technology has improved over the years, we've learnt how to work as part of a team and listen to each others point of view. We learnt how to design our own flyer leaflet using microsoft publisher and also how to create a webpage. In future, i would like to have more out door expeperienc and learn more abour our physical environment.

Since i started the boys and girls brigade program i have learnt so many things e.g how to create customer accounts on Sage and i have also learnt how to identify the differtent traffic signals.it's been a wonderfrul experience so far,the way you see young people in the community taking parts in different activities that can help them in their day to day life,as i look forward to attending more of the BB program, am hoping to learn things that can direct and help me in life,i will also be looking forward to interacting with different people of different background or religion.

Nicole O; 14

Since i joined the Boys Brigade programme, i have learnt a lot of new things and had great experiences. The programme has helped me become more disciplined and also engage in more team-building excercises. I have also learnt useful things that i could use in my future life when i get older. The BBP also helps get teenagers off the streets and engages them in useful activities.

In the future i would like to see more young teenagers get involved in the fun activities we do.

At the Boys Brigade Program we have learnt a lot things and experienced a lot of new things, more people in the neighbourhood have been coming and we have increased in number. I would really like if we learnt about the world and what we can do to get a better life when we grow up, Overall it has been a wonderful experience for me and my other companions in the BBP.

Abimbola A; 11

During my time in The BB programme, I have experienced a lot of things. People around our neighbourhood are really communicating with our progamme. For the last 10 weeks I have enjoyed the lessons that we have been taught. Lessons that have taught us life issues, what we can do to improve our country, how money is really being used and all sorts. I have learned a very important lesson and the lesson is that to always live a life of goodnees and faithfulness. What I would like to see in our programme is for more people to come and experience wonderful things and I would like to see different things changing in the programme.
